Terms

To comply with Australian Standard for building inspections AS4349.1 and timber pest inspections AS4349.3 insurers require that every pre-purchase inspection has an agreement accepted by the purchaser (or their solicitor/conveyancer/agent) before commencement of the inspection.

If you are in agreement, click “Reply” to the agreement email with the words “I accept” in the subject line or body of the email. Alternatively sign and mail or fax to our office. A copy of this agreement as sent to you will be stored with your inspection documents.

This Building Inspection Agreement and or Timber Pest Inspection Agreement applies to your inspection request. If You don’t wish to return the copy to Us and do not cancel the requested inspection, then You agree that this document forms the agreement between You and Us. We will carry out the inspection and report as ordered by You in accordance with this Agreement and You agree to pay the inspection fee.

Payment terms – Payment is requested when the inspection appointment has been confirmed. Payment may be via credit card over the phone or direct deposit to our company account. When direct depositing the payment please email a copy of the bank transfer receipt from the internet banking session or a scanned copy of the over counter bank deposit receipt.

Re-Inspection Fee – If an additional inspection is required, due to inaccessible areas on the first inspection appointment, a re-inspection fee of $327.00 will apply.

Cancellation – All inspection bookings cancelled with a minimum of 24 hours before inspection booking will be provided a FULL REFUND. A short notice cancellation, up to 24 hours notice will incur a $30.00 fee. A last-minute cancellation, 2 to 24 hours notice, will incur a fee of $165.00. Cancellations cannot be accepted within 2 hours of the appointment or after the inspection has commenced.

In ordering the inspection, you agree that the inspection will be carried out in accordance with the Building and or Pest Agreement which define the scope and limitations of the inspection and the report.
